I am sure that posting will become second nature fairly soon.
But until that part of my brain kicks in and gets a little bit more organized, this will have to do.
We had such a busy week last week and this week isn’t looking to let up either. I hope that I will get some more posts of last weeks happenings today or tomorrow. Scouts honor.
Lyall is out of town again this week for Networkers in Orlando, in fact he should be boarding right now! (I’m a dork, really.) He will be a traveling man like usual and will be home on Friday. I told him to do something obscene with Minnie Mouse and not to call me smashed at 3 am unless it’s a really good story and sent him on his way.
Riley is also getting ready for his annual trip to the Northeast to visit Brett’s parents and hang out with the relatives for a few weeks in July. Since Brett is at bootcamp and he is trying not to be useless to society, Riley will be cared for by is parents. I am actually bummed that my little man is going away, but apparently it is good for me to have this break. But getting him ready for the trip is getting me a little choked up. He really is an AWESOME kid now that he can tell you how he feels it’s just going to leave me a wreck for the next few weeks. Nevertheless I am planning of doing some fun stuff with him this week so he can have some good memories while he is away.
I honestly should have started this little mommy/ family blog A LONG TIME AGO. Shoot at least last summer while I was “smuggling the watermelon.”
